Can i Have some Help Please? Singing?

i Need to know what i Should do. im 13  i Love to sing with a passion
i cant go a day without singing . ' im not afriad to preform and sing
my heart out with people hearing me.

i want to preform in talent shows and stuff but where i live is not
the right place i hear. i live in new jersey , Newark . so its kind of
ghetto here and there is not many opportunities that i see. i dont
know what to do. if anyone knows any talent shows coming up for SUMMER
2011 near NEWARK NEWJERSEY. Or somewhere in NEW YORK , please tell :)

Also i would like to know if anyone knows any good voice warm ups that
can help my voice inprove or something because i sing good but i cant
hit very low notes and sometimes i cant hit high notes or a " powerful
tone of voice " . for example .. in beyonce song " listen " when she
is ready to hit the chorus she sings " . . . . Into your own all
'cause you won't . . Listen !! . . " < - that kind of voice . i cant
really aford vocal coaches or voice lessons so if you know any
techniques or somethin that can help strengthen my voice and help me
hit very low and high notes please tell :)
Note: i Already tried brent manning so please dont sujjest :)

Lastly i would like to know how to write songs. i just cant think of
the lyrics nor can think of a beat. so please tell if you know. i
would really appreciate all of the help
